Valerie Patmintra

Account Director

Valerie Patmintra brings more than ten years public relations and marketing experience to her role as account director at Brand Resources Group (BRG.) In this position, she leads award-winning public awareness and education campaigns, branding initiatives, online/digital strategy and media programs on behalf of agency’s key nonprofit and healthcare clients.

A skilled communications and marketing professional, Patmintra is highly-adept and effective in delivering strategic and creative counsel to organizations in the nonprofit arena. She leads communications programs that educate on issues including home safety, environmental health, and affordable housing – most in relation to their impact on children and families. Patmintra regularly works with celebrity and/or expert spokespeople to deliver sponsor driven messaging; facilitates strategic partnerships that further elevate safety and health related initiatives; and manages execution and translation of research and analysis to refine messaging platforms and support brand strategies.

Responsible for directing comprehensive program management for BRG’s largest nonprofit account, Home Safety Council, Patmintra leads communications strategy for award-winning annual awareness month; manages ongoing research initiatives; directs monthly webinar series for grassroots network; and develops Safe Haven, the organization’s annual research report.

Additional nonprofit account work at BRG includes the National Center for Healthy Housing, an organization established to protect children and families from residential environmental hazards while preserving the supply of affordable housing. In leading this account, Patmintra drives the organization’s brand awareness and visibility strategy.

Previous experience includes work with global public relations agencies including Weber Shandwick Worldwide and Burson Marsteller, where she was an integral part of several full-service client teams for brands such as Kodak, Terra Lycos and SAP.

Prior to joining BRG, Patmintra worked as a strategic communications consultant with Booz Allen Hamilton where she managed internal and external communications efforts on behalf of Department of Defense Agencies including Defense Telecommunications Services-Washington and the Joint Requirements and Integration Office.

Patmintra holds a bachelor’s degree in public relations from the University of Florida where she was a member of the Golden Key International Honor Society.
