Laurie Mobley

Laurie recently joined the leadership team of Brand Resources Group to focus on creating enduring connections between consumers and health+wellness brands. She currently provides senior counsel across multiple agency account teams and works directly with clients on strategic program development.
Laurie brings more than seventeen years of healthcare communications experience that spans every aspect of healthcare from global public health campaigns for CDC to nationally-recognized patient education and prevention campaigns targeting women as the family's "healthcare gatekeeper." She has a proven track record of delivering highly measurable results for clients looking to build trust around health+wellness platforms from nationally recognized household brands to pharmaceuticals, insurance and not-for-profit organizations.
Previously, Laurie led the Washington, D.C. office of WCG (WeissComm Group) where she provided strategic counsel focused on women's health, regulatory milestones and consumer launch preparation for a number of accounts including EMD Serono, Pfizer, Galderma, Genomic Health, Fisher BioPharma, Genentech and Pfizer.
Earlier, Laurie developed and led award-winning patient education and influencer programs for more than seven years at Ketchum. She co-directed the consumer health and wellness speciality based in Washington, DC and served as Account Director for several key multi-office healthcare accounts: Aetna, Frito-Lay, Kimberly-Clark and Wyeth. Earlier at Ketchum, she served as the Director of Healthcare for Ketchum South where she grew the practice with clients including: IBM Healthcare & Life Sciences, Johnson & Johnson, Medtronic, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Serologicals, First Data Corp and Pfizer.
Prior to Ketchum, Laurie started and built Cohn & Wolfe Atlanta's healthcare practice where she oversaw communications and issues management programs for pharmaceutical, medical device, and health provider clients.
Previously, Laurie gained extensive science communications and issues management expertise at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). She managed external communications for the National Center for HIV, STD and TB Prevention. Laurie was responsible for strategic communications to advance public health priorities, including dissemination of emerging science by CDC scientists, accurate surveillance reporting, and ongoing issues preparedness.
Earlier, Laurie managed healthcare accounts at Fleishman-Hillard Atlanta and began her career in Burson-Marsteller's New York healthcare practice.
Laurie is a frequent speaker on communications for the national Marketing-to-Women (M2W) conference, Healthcare Businesswomen's Association, CDC Foundation, Georgia Biomedical Partnership, PRSA, Emory University and Howard University.
Laurie graduated from Lafayette College with a Bachelor of Arts degree. She completed several Graduate Certificate courses at the Rollins School of Public Health at Emory University.
