Cindy Rahman

With more than 8 years of experience in public relations and communications consulting, Rahman provides senior counsel to clients in both the corporate and association arenas. Over the years, Rahman has worked with clients such as the Heart Rhythm Society, American Association of Occupational Health Nurses (AAOHN), Walmart Foundation, Rubbermaid Commercial Products, Georgia-Pacific, NCR Corporation, among others. Rahman brings a dynamic mix of media relations, advertising strategy, event management, sponsorship negotiation and integrated marketing experience to her account teams.

During her tenure at BRG, Rahman has managed campaigns that have won over 40 industry awards and established relationships with media partners across consumer and trade outlets. Rahman and her account teams have generated high visibility for clients in both the C2B and B2B segments, elevating brand awareness and delivering on key messages and consumer call-to-action.

Rahman has strong contacts and has worked closely with a variety of professional associations across a number of market segments in support of corporate clients. A few of her association partnerships include the ASHES, APIC, BOMA, HIMSS, ISSA and NRA.

She has led PR campaigns with an emphasis on workplace safety, food safety, green/sustainability messages and solutions, health and wellness initiatives, healthcare technology, public awareness on specific disease states and more. Specific programs have included Sudden Cardiac Arrest Awareness Month (Heart Rhythm Society), Hunger Relief and Military Support During the Holidays (Walmart Foundation), HYGEN Microfiber Campaign and Product Launch (RCP) and Health and Wellness for Today's Workforce (AAOHN).

Rahman is a graduate from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and is currently pursuing her Masters in Business at the George Washington University in Washington, D.C.
